Lorry Concern in Lound

Lorries who are following incorrect SATNAV’s into the village are causing concern to some villagers.

‘Lorry Watch’ is a scheme operated using local people to detect the misuse of weight restricted routes being used by HGV’s in Nottinghamshire.

The Linghurst Lakes AGM will be held in the Village Hall on Thursday 29 September at 7.30pm. Villagers who are interested in helping to keep the Lakes in good condition or, in becoming Friends of Linghurst Lakes are invited to attend the meeting.

Lound Phoenix Group – Meetings

Lound Phoenix is a ladies group held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. It is an open meeting and there is no membership, just a small fee payable at the door for each event. Each month there is a different speaker or demonstrator.
