As you may be aware, over the last year we have had several incidents of criminal damage around the Village and Linghurst Lakes, caused by illegal quad bikers.
Idle Valley Nature Reserve have had the same problem, but have also had issues with 4×4 vehicles and off road motorbikes.
Can all villagers please keep an eye out when the walking around the Village, Linghurst or the Reserve and report any incidents or illegal activities to the police. Incidents which have already happened should be reported by calling 101, whilst 999 should be used when a criminal activity is taking place.
