Lound Village Regular Carol Singing
Monday 11th December. Setting off from the (lighted!) Christmas tree on the Village Green at 7.00pm prompt. We are trying a different route this year – Chainbridge Road and Town Street northwards as far as the ginnel to Littletop Lane, stopping at the Naylor’s for refreshment on the way; continue up the ginnel and turn right down Littletop Lane (often missed in previous years due to lack of time); Paddocks; south down Town Street to crossroads; right towards Littletop Lane and final refreshments at White Lodge.
We always run out of time and request that villagers will be ready when they hear our angelic carolling, and respond quickly to the collectors who have to knock at every house.
Collection will (as usual) be for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Service who are always very grateful for our donations.
