On Tuesday 25th April Lound Parish Council resolved to respond in objection to plans to extract and process pulverised fuel ash from land south of Lound, on the grounds of the perceived harm to many sensitive receptors in the area likely to be effected based on the information available within the planning application. The response will be made public on Nottinghamshire County Councils website for those residents wishing to read these concerns.
The Parish Council recognises the many different views and concerns of residents both for and against the application and encourage all residents to express their representations accordingly on the planning portal. Representations made do not need to be technical in nature and will help shape the future of the area.
